ABOUT
Currently living in Montreal, Véronique Meignaud was born in France in 1984.
After two years of training at the french school of art « Emile Cohl », she started working for game studios, such as Electronic Arts, Etranges Libellules, Darkworks and others, but also Nike and Marc Eko, to name a few.
She also did illustrations for Magic: The Gathering playing cards for Wizards of the Coast.
A fascination for both the organic and mineral worlds transpires in her art at many levels ; it's a strong source of inspiration that she turns into a unique output.
Never one to be inactive, her free time seems to merely represent endless opportunities to explore her craft further.
She's constantly experimenting and trying new ideas and canvases, she's always part of an exhibition somewhere in Europe, America, or even in Japan.
She participates in workshops (in Berlin, Paris),
live art shows,
and created a video tutorial for aspiring artists.
Furthermore, instead of taking a rest from all of that, she also indulges in web design and regularly organizes life drawing sessions with her peers.
Véronique's art is akin to a beast that feeds on enormous amounts of just about everything, also preying on photography, architecture and fashion design as a source of nutrients.
