“Assembly Line Collective and collaborating charity group Philanthro Productions (partnered with VIVA LA ART!) hosts this multi-city tour (Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Vancouver) to promote the freshest visual creations while revealing new light into aesthetics of local versus international flavor. There are currently over 40 artists participating, some of which are from France, Japan, Germany, Poland, and Canada.”

I’ve participated in the Henge project last Saturday (organized by En Masse, hosted in the Complexe Desjardins), during the Nuit Blanche à Montréal ; 8 huge white blocs covered by ~ 45 artists.

Sorry, too tired to translate tonight.. / “L’exposition Carbone réunit six jeunes artistes autour de la Ligne, une thématique récurrente dans l’ensemble de leurs œuvres. Venus d’horizons différents (illustration, jeu vidéo, graphisme, mode…), Véronique Meignaud, Maya Mihindou, Emmanuel Malin, Julie Nivert, Stéphane Tartelin et Lionel Bui déclinent ainsi sur le papier un langage incisif et singulier.
Simple trait à la mine de carbone, mêlé d’encres ou rehaussé de couleurs, le travail de la ligne nous révèle ici quelques aspects de la richesse de leurs univers.”
