I’m glad to announce that the Nucleus Gallery -Alhambra CA- presents a new collective exhibition which starts this evening (Saturday, June 19th) ; devoted to the french artists:
Adolie Day , Alexandre Day, Emmanuelle Pioli, Eric Gosselet, Gerald Guerlais, Lilidoll, Marguerite Sauvage, McBess , Rebecca Dautremer, Sebastien Mesnard, Stephane Tartelin, Véronique Joffre, & myself.
Thanks to Lin and all the team of the gallery for setting this event. edit/ 4 of my original pieces will be featured :

Je suis un peu en retard, le Artbook CFSL.ink #04 est disponible depuis le 12 mai ! Encore une belle sélection ; une quantité folle d’images tout styles. Encore merci à la team pour leur travail acharné :) J’en profite aussi pour signaler l’update de mon interview dans la galerie CFSL, avec de nouvelles images (merci Made !).
Puis je vous suggère d’aller découvrir l’expo de Nénent (aka Clément Lefèvre) qui débutera la semaine prochaine au bar “Les Furieux”, vernissage le jeudi 3 juin. J’y serai avec quelques gens pour dédicacer le Artbook.

I’m late to announce the release of the Artbook CFSL.ink #04, since May 12 ! A beautiful selection ; a crazy amount of images featuring various styles. Thanks again to all the team for his huge work ! Besides, my interview on CFSL gallery has been updated by Made with new images.
I take this opportunity to suggest that you discover the Nénent’s exhibiton which start next week at “Les Furieux”, opening reception on Thursday, June 3. I’ll be there with some guys to sign the Artbook.

Gallery Nucleus, is hosting from April 3 to 26 an exhibition gathering fashion illustrators & designers. Artists featured included Naja Conrad-Hansen, Stina Persson, Japanese artist Ohgushi, Sandra Suy, Finnish illustrator Laura Laine (who is definitely my favorite artist from this show, her dark and elegant style is absolutely gorgeous). “During the opening reception, Fashion designer and illustrator Connie Lim kicked off the evening with a seven-look collection titled “Noir.” [...] Also appearing on the runway was an edited selection of looks from Valerj Pobega’s Spring 2010 collection featuring Japanese-inspired, raw-edged silk kimonos with hand-dyed streaks.
The runway was the centerpiece of the gallery and set by a floor-to-ceiling string installation by design studio Matik. A live-model sketching session followed the runway presentation in the upper loft of the gallery with burgeoning illustrator putting on paper two looks from Lim’s collection.”

J’ai corrigé quelques trucs ce matin, la première compo était un peu malsaine… Merci donc à Léo & Manu Malin pour leurs conseils ! La déformation du visage est complètement assumée ; en général je rajoute un autre œil sous le premier situé trop haut sur le visage, pour corriger un peu l’asymétrie, cette fois je vais m’abstenir :3
I’ve adjusted some stuff this morning, the first composition was twisted. Thanks to Léo & Manu Malin for their advices :) The deformation of the face is completely assumed, most of the time I add a second eye under the first one which is placed too high on th face to hide the asymmetrical mistake, I won’t cheat this time.

“Une nouvelle mélodie progresse, froide et perforante en surface ; mais fugace pour les entrailles, elle s’incorpore à la chaleur humaine, l’entrave comme un virus. Le corps se disloque à nouveau : les dents s’enragent (bientôt), les veines pulsent à foison et rougissent, la peau s’écaille, se coupe, les sangs virevoltent et chagrinent les mémoires… puis rebroussent chemin, pour laisser un terrain dérangé, à aplanir, sur lequel on cherche à reconstruire, des choses auxquelles on est fatigué de croire.”
